The New Strand is a 407,000 square foot shopping centre located in Bootle, Merseyside. Known locally as The Strand, the centre opened in the 1960s. It houses 100 retailers and a 600 capacity car park. The Strand was acquired by Ellandi in 2014 and is managed by Savills. The new owners have completely overhauled the brand and the centre’s website in order to drive footfall and reduce the number of vacant units.
